Just wondering (realizing it's a holiday period) how long it might take to get a license transfer to my RPi?

Re: Transfer license
Send email to info at smartbedded with old and new MAC addresses. Probably will be done in a day or two. New Pi should work right away anyway with 14 day trial. Make sure new Pi is working before requesting license transfer. Common mistake is to not have purchased an approved SLC SD card. It will run with wrong SD card but it won't do data logging and you'll see a warning message.

Re: Transfer license
Thanks - works well so far. Sent email as well. Being the holiday period was wondering.

@Guy: Please check you spam folder. I just answered your request for the second time.
BTW: Your migration cannot be done because you failed to setup the new system in trial mode first or you sent me a wrong MAC of the new system. I need the MAC that Meteobridge shows on "System - Information" tab. This is the MAC of the LAN adapter, not what your router might tell you when operating it on WLAN.

Thanks - checked Spam, nothing there. Sent the updated MAC - correct I was using the WLAN not the one reported on the system tab!!

Re: Transfer license
Ya I almost bit the bullet on an EOL TL-WR902AC ver 1To a rpi 3b+. On MB ver 1.3 but just can't seem to recognize my Ecowitt GW1000 PM 2.5 outdoor first gen or Soil moisture sensors no matter what I try. Had a hell of a time getting it to see all the extra 8 indoor temp/hum's also but got those figured out but a nightmare. The Rpi just doesn't see them. Looking around but not seeing anyone with the same issues. Have a Rpi 4 (8gig) (I know, overkill) coming tomorrow with approved Industrial Grade - AF2GUDI-MOT1-1P. Have a spare good San Disk Extreme V30 for now... it works just not saving data to the card since it's not on the approved list. Am making constant backups just in case.galfert wrote: ↑Thu Dec 31, 2020 7:03 am Send email to info at smartbedded with old and new MAC addresses. Probably will be done in a day or two. Is there a read me or Wiki on how to set up the Rpi I haven't much time or luck finding anything for it?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Transfer license **solved**
Thanks a bunch. I just checked and my Rpi 4 should be here tomorrow but the required Industrial micro SD is delayed and hasn't even left the shipper yet. I'll wait for the transfer to that before moving my MAC addy from the old MB. Got good life out of it going on 4+ years for $35
Again Thanks. Glad you still around the boards helping others still.

Hi Andy
the PM2.5 sensors should be visible under Raw Sensor Data as "Air" = WH41/43 PM2.5 #1, "Air #1" = PM2.5 #2 WH41/43 #2 etc.
in the history it/they will show as air0!0pm, air0!1pm etc.
The Soil Moisture sensors (WH51) will show in the Raw Sensor Data as Soil #20 (for SM #1), Soil #21 (for SM #2) etc., and in the history as th0!20hum, th0!21hum etc.
The soil moisture sensors became invisible due to a bug with the software update from 6-Dec-2020 - they are back again with the latest release from 6-Jan-2021.
I was someone discovering that issue (as my own history data disappeared = were no longer stored) and bringing it to the attention of the developer.
