WD auf NLSU2 installieren?

Hallo die Wettergemeinde.

Wenn ich WD auf einer NLSU2 benutzen möchte, muß ich dann die Software auch auf einem USB Stick installieren, oder wie geht das?
Habe im moment meteohub auf meiner NLSU2(Testphase)
und WD auf meinem Lappi.
Möchte gerne mit WD eine Homepage erstellen, hab aber noch keine Ahnung wie. Konnte auch bis dato auch keine Beschreibung finden.

Würde mich über Hilfe freuen.

Aber du musst dir die lizenz kaufen ;)
Wenn du es so haben willst, gehtdas ohne probleme... Das was du auf der adresse siehst, laeuft auf ner NSLU2 ;)

I probably missed something in translation, but are you perhaps thinking of WDL?
WD (Weather Display) and WDL (Weather Display Live) are different and separate applications.

N.B. The version of WD that can be run on a NSLU2 is very limited compared to the full Windows version.
So far as I'm aware, at present only the full Windows version of WD supports the "logging protocol" way of communicating with Meteohub.

I can use WDL ( it's integrated in meteohub), but I must buy the license, what I want do.
I can install WD (Weather Display). I have the license and the new version.
But must I have the license for meteohub with WDL if I want install Weather Display (WD)?
And if I install WD, how must I install? And must I have meteohub? I can't find a description.

WDL is a Flash based application that displays data from a special set of files.
Originally only WD was able to create the special files that WDL uses.
Now other applications, including Meteohub can create equivalent files too.

Meteohub includes a demonstration version of the WDL application.

WD is a totally separate application to WDL. They are developed by different people.
WD has existed for longer than WDL.
Many people have WD without also having WDL (I don't use WDL).

There are several versions of WD.
The Window version is the original and main version. It has the most features. After trial use (30 days?) a licence needs to be purchased.

There are also several Linux versions. Some have more features than others. Some have a graphical interface, others are console only.
I believe that the version of WD that will run on a NSLU2 is console only, and has only a limited range of features.
The Linux versions are "donationware".

I use the Windows version and haven't tried to use any of the Linux versions.
I think there may be no formal instructions for the NSLU2 install!
There is a dedicated WD for Linux section on Weather-Watch. Much of the 'documentation' seems to be topics in there. In a quick search for NSLU2 install information this topic was about as close as I got!
For more help on that I suggest that you ask a question on the Weather-Watch Forum.

Thank you for your help.
Now I'm secure what I will do. I buy the license for meteohub und use WDL.
At the Demo version WDL isn't working.
WD I use on my Computer for my one. That's good.
