weatherist34 wrote: Fri Feb 19, 2021 1:17 pm Firstly sorry for lack of responses just a manic week and sitting around waiting for an SMS to get vaccine .Anyway Im off next week for a few weeks to our second home for the first time in a year for obvious reasons of pandemic.

This week thank you all for the emails I have addressed the majority of those through simple updates this week .

They were
1. missing heat index in the API
2. minor appearance change to login screen for setup
3. reworked the earthquake regional module . which only displays regional earthquakes based on your Lat Lon upto 1500km radius (THEORITICALLY) :-)
red is less 150km/mi , yellow less than 300km/mi , green 500km/mi or greater in distance away
4. Cleaned up code for heat index display so easy to overlook scenarios when not in season here thanks Jodie(Australia)..
5. minor css changes nothing significant.
6. Removed Ecowitt compatibility tired of the inept emails so there you go , simply use something more suited .see FAQ for the total crap I got sent..
7. Added simple hardware ID to footer bar some Hardware ID examples shown in screen shot
8. FAQ was added to info site and hopefully you will see my side of the coin why I drastically reduced features to keep it maintained in a manageable way instead of just walking away due to fatigue and never ending upkeep.I have always said if it doesn't suit your requirements there are multiple choices of alternative templates to fulfill your requirements.

*Verified full compatibility with PHP 8.02 release

TODO finalize new end of day charts output but this will be possibly a March project cant see it getting done beforehand.

take care all and get the vaccine if the opportunity comes your way, life has a better chance of getting back to some form of normality in the near future because I cant take another year of awkwardness ! ..

Brian
Thanks for all your hard work Brian, It is appreciated, and I hope all is well with your Jab.
1 quick ? if I may.
Is the extra Info button on the Regional earthquake module supposed to display anything at the moment? I just get a blank box?

Regards

G

I did the fix Brian,

Two Things
1 it says at the bottom of the module epicentre distance Istanbul..
2 when I open the extra info the distance is in miles whereby in the module it is in KM, but it has the same number so in module it says 393 km but in extra info it says 393 miles..

3 I’ve got an appointment for my Jab on Thursday!!

PS I’ve had a little hack of the file so it looks right .. but I’m sure it isn’t as you intended
I changed the word Istanbul to Station and KM to miles.

thank you a transition of mine got left in there . surprised you use it any earthquake concern in your neck of the woods ? ...:-)

Ive just updated the update file to show correct km or mi according to setup choice. also note the small info diag screen its nothing significant it simply
helps me get an idea of some basics I often need when an issue is raised from those who perhaps are not familiar with template. serves nothing other than telling me what could be the issue outside of the template.

* Fix earthquake km or miles selection Ref Graham (5:23pm).
* Adds simple diag info (5:23pm).
* Important API updated requires meteobridge reboot (17th Feb).
* Please always do a *backup before running updates

So I've done the update, the module changes from Mi to KM as per settings... The extra info is staying in KM ? Is that how you intended it?

Sorry...
Further update to my confusion..

It appears that the module responds to distance measurement as per Admin setup whereas the "extra info" follows the UK/Metric toggle.

Is that correct?

try running the update from this morning , it should be only relative to whatever is set in the setup screen.
note the purple air VOC minor fix also.

* Fix Purple Air Voc if zero anomaly Ref Lars (11:57am).
* Compiles update file to match GITHUB master (11:45am).
* Fix earthquake km or miles selection Ref Gary (11:45am).
* Adds simple diag info (11:45am).
* Important API updated requires meteobridge reboot (17th Feb).
* Please always do a *backup before running updates

I must go now I think the update should resolve the confusion..have a good day..

Hi. Apparently the MB didn't run "chart-end-of-day" last night. In any case, the February chart was last updated on Monday, February 22 at 12:15 am. How can I get the insights from Tuesday (with the data from the 22nd) in the chart? And if I don't alter it will the info about today be added tonight. Or has the adding of data in the February chart stopped?

hello sorry a brief reply but set the end of day in meteobridge service to 2:00am as opposed to original 12:15am recommendation.12:15am has proven problematic.no idea why as the 2:00am uses the same exact identical script only difference is the time is set too 2:00am in meteobridge services itself.

Hello all...

I’ve been meaning to ask this question for a while, but I’m only reminded on the 1st of every month...
Would it be useful to anyone else bar me if in the almanac pages that the previous months data stayed available?

Brian, would this be possible?

Hi Brian,
I noticed a strange character (square bracket) occurring in my rainfall summaries (extra info).
I hadn't been there earlier ...
Any idea where it comes from and how to get rid of it ?
