I upload my data "every full 15 minutes" to a MySQL database. It was raining last night at midnight and today I noticed a difference between the inches of rain on my webpage and my Davis weather console. It now has occurred to me that at midnight when data uploads, it has "today's" date but the data is actually from yesterday.
I looked at the upload time options on Meteobridge and I don't see and option for xx:14, :29, :44, and :59 minutes after the hour. Other than setting it for "every 15 minutes" and saving it at one of the stated minutes, its there another method to upload my data at those times?
Thanks.

Re: Upload data to MySQL at specific times
Yes at precisely "midnight" the date changes with that point in time being the beginning of the next time period, what ever that maybe. There is quite a few interpretations re this midnight thing but in typical time lore midnight is 00:00 not 24:00. Also with any time frame there can never be a Beginning and End in the one time period, that is for say any/every hour it can not do both, begin at say 00:00 and end at 01:00 as technically that is longer than 1 hour and there can not be any double up across the hour.
Also in uploading data "every full 15 minutes" can be deemed unconnected (as such) to the date, it is just "every full 15 minutes"
You might also look at what Davis do in WeatherLink as opposed to say what the Console might do, today being the 10th and with a data archive of 15 minutes then there would be an archive
9/5/21 23:30 ....
9/5/21 23:45 ....
10/5/21 00:00 ....
10/5/21 0:10 ....
with the 10/5/21 00:00 values being the period for the past 15 minutes (yesterday) but dated today.

Re: Upload data to MySQL at specific times
Thank you for the reply and sorry for the delayed response. It is still not clear on what upload setting to use.
Meteobridge has 2 choices for a 15 minute upload.
1) Every 15 minutes
2) Every Full 15 minutes
The first is every 15 minutes starting from what you click SAVE.
The second option is uploaded on the 15 of the hour: 00, 15, 30, 45, with midnight being 00:00 of a new day and not 24:00 of the previous day, even though the data is from the previous day.
It appears the the first option SAVED closest to 14,29,44,59 after the hour will be the closest to the WeatherLink site. The WeatherLink site matches my Console, so I will try to determine how the handle to the data at "change of day"
