Are there any conditions for templates is .html? I mean in size and/or complexity.
I see that the largest default template is about 27 KB in size is that a coincidence or is that the maximum?
At which point the load of the MB becomes too great when handling the template or is that not the case, it does not matter. I have both an MB Nano/SD and a Pro.

I don't think that there is a general size limit.
Regarding load this will depend on the complexity of the work your template performs (e.g. time interval, number of sensors, number of database reads ....).
And if this coincides with other resource claiming activities like backups or so.
You will have to figure out what still works and what brings your MB to its limit.
You can write a little template for checking/reading the system performance parameters from the database.
