Okay - I had 4.2RC3 working and I upload to WDL - now my graphs are not working in WDL.... It's been off for several days - so does it take 24 hours before graphs start working as for example wind for the last hour is not showing any data after I updated to 4.2a......it updated a brief few times while I was stll on rc6 - then stopped after 4.2a It worked prior to updating...and I have updated, rebooted, recomped. resaved every page... etc....

Should I go back to rc6?

As a follow up - going to 4.2a from 4.2rc3 has completely messed up WDL Data - the base raw files is fine - but it is not sending/calculating graph data in the hour file..... I'm resetting and doing everything including going back to rc3 - still no luck....

Getting late - will play with it this weekend...maybe need to start from scratch again...

There have been no changes in the WD-Live part. So it would be a surprise that things are going wrong there.

Please keep in mind that Meteohub initiates a data recomputation after having done the update. While recomputation is running, Meteohub will not deliver correct values for WD-Live, because WD-Live data is derived from the data that just gets calculated.

So please wait until data recomputation has finished (which can take a while depending to the amount of logged data) and until fresh WD-Live data has been uploaded to your home page (depends on your WD-Live upload-schedule).

I had version rc6 and updated to 4.2a and now it will not connect to the internet. I have restarted my modem, router and the hub many times. The bottom green light stays on and the top light flashes yellow red green and then solid green and then a bunch of beeps for a minute or so. I can see it in the network but under system it says no internet access.

It shows an IP, and sub but no gateway.

Boris - It's been through a recomputation like 6 times and running for 12 hours now - it's new so I think I will rebuild the CF card becasue I've done everything I can think of to get it working - almost starting from scratch......it just won't process the graphs....

Please let me have a look into this. I don't think that rebuilding from scratch will be necessary.
please mail connecting details to "info(at)meteohub.de".

@fishalaska:
Sometimes NSLU2 does not get all network details from DHCP server.

Read here how to change to fixed LAN IP without DHCP:

OK..

Cure:
1) shutdown Meteohub
2) goto "network" (or if not there "settings" ) page
3) unmark DHCP
4) set appropriate IP, Gateway (IP of your Router), Mask (mostly 255.255.255.0) and DNS (might be same as gateway)
5) press "save" and ignore what values are displayed.
6) restart Meteohub

I assume whehn you say shutdown meteohub you mean turn off the hub but stay in the browser application? Can I stay in the browser application once the hub is turned off?

It says "restart". You have a reboot option on "maintenance" page. And, yes can can stay in the browser, or you can type in the Meteohub LAN IP again, after Meteohub is back online again.

Step 1 says to "shutdown Meteohub".

Do you mean to shut off NSLU2 with the power button? I cant access it through the web browser if it is off can I?

Hi Boris - I'm emailing you access info because there is something definitely wrong... I completely started over re-writing the CF card etc... Everything is up and running but Meteohub is not processing correctly the clientrawhour.txt file..... After reloading 4.2a it started working for about 5 mintues - then stopped working - all other data seems to be okay - just not the hour file - it's dropping all hour data off....

I found a bug in WD-Live data generation that should impact all users in certain situations. This will be fixed with the next update.
