Data from before 2019 inaccessible?! **solved**

Post by staze »

I had data going back to 2009 in my MB Nano... and it seems to be gone (I can't see anything older than 2019 when going to Edit Data). I can see some entries older (a 2013 low wind chill on min/max page).

I also don't see any way to generate a chart from data older than 2 years...

Am I missing something?

Hourly data is kept forever on a NANO SD. Therefore, your observation is a surprise to me. Are you talking about a NANO SD?

Yes, Nano SD. This didn't used to be the case... so some update recently has changed something?

I can see that the data exists, but looking at History, if I go to "Edit hourly data" it only shows back to 2019. If I go to Generate Chart, and resolution "All" or "Year", etc I can only see "Last 2 years".

The real issue is I can't tell when this happened. All my nightly backups look consistent size-wise. Going to Import/Export, it only provides the option to Export the Year 2019... but that seems to be based on what you set in the other tab for "Edit". =/

Just rebooted Nano SD... same thing.

Opening up a db backup in DBeaver, I can see data from 2009 forward... so it's in there...

Will admit, this could also be me just not understanding some part of the updated tabbed interface...

No info on what I should be looking at or trying?

See attached screenshot.

Or... something else is up. Just changed to a different sensor and now I see all the year fields.

So for some reason, I guess I only have dew point back to when I first got my Nano SD... I thought I imported all that data.

Ah, it's th0dew vs thb0dew.

Sorry. Totally user error.
