License migration as a self service from version 5.1 on

Post by admin »

As we receive more and more requests to move Meteobridge licenses to the newer platforms (like the Raspberry PI) we added from version 5.1 on a self service on "License" tab that allows you to transfer the license to another Meteobridge located in the same LAN/WLAN on your own.

In order to do so the Meteobridge that wants to transfer the license this still has to be in the license update period. If that period has passed you need to buy and apply an update license first. When you migrate a license the update period will also be migrated to the new device, so you don't lose update service.

Migration needs you to have a license still in the update support window.

I do not control from which countries mycommerce accepts payments. Did you contact them to find out why it is not working? May be there is a supported cash transfer way.
