Not able to access Remote Dash from NANO-SD

Post by rzelle-K1TTC »

Hi,
My Nano-SD's Local Dashboard is accessible and working well and in sync with my Weather34 AuroraMKII Dashboard but the Remote Dashboard throws an Oops Remote access to you Meteobridge is current not available. I've determined it's not my local Firewall since it not accessible outside my local network either.

What am I missing .. or need to do allow it to work. I haven't tried using Remote Dash in quite while as well. A friend who is considering buying a Nano-SD for his Davis VP asked to see the Dashboard so I'm trying to send him a link to view it.

Here is the Nano-SD's Info:
Platform: Meteobridge NANO SD (ambientweather Version)
RAM: 125 MB total, 56 MB free (55% used)
Storage: swissbit SLC, 1.8 GB total, 1.4 GB free (22% used, 248.2 yrs)
SW Version: Meteobridge 5.4 (May 7 2022, build 4207), FW 1.3
Uptime: 2 days, 12 hours, 56 minutes Buffer: 1 items (0%)

License Key: activated (mbnano-*******)

A meteobridge reboot sometimes fixes this.

Thanks, I did a reset which reboots as well and starts with a default config of course.

The Reset did not solve the Remote Dash problem.

I think it is a general remote access problem nothing special with the dashboard.
Do you have remote access enabled on "System - Administration" tab?
Can you login to the Meteobridge GUI remotely?

Hi, Here is the link it creates for the Remote Dash give it a try. The option to allow access is enabled as well. I only login to the Nano's management GUI locally.

I removed your remote link as then there is only your password to protect from intrusion.

When I tried the link you offered, I did not succeed in opening the GUI of your Meteobridge either. So you are behind some firewall/router that does block the SSH tunnel traffic. Are you behind a corporate firewall? Or on some forced proxy setups (sat internet, corporate infrastructure)?

I sent the link so you could see the error and to verify what I see here from an outside network as well. Thanks for removing the link. Building an ssh tunnel back to my Nano won't work unless I allow it. That's the answer then Thanks. It is behind a Cisco FTD firewall.

I've re-opened the link to my Weather34 AuaraMKII Dash.

Thanks for you help.
