Rain Sensor

Post by FishAlaska »

Goodness I need help again. Meteohub is not picking up my rain sensor. It is showing on my console but not getting from the console to meteohub. I have checked the cable, rebooted many times and nothing. Any suggestions?

Drop outs of rain sensor reception are a very common problem with the WMR200. If you search over on Weather-Watch you'll find that it's come up quite a few times. The fact that it's still showing on the console may just be because the console hasn't yet noticed the loss of signal.

Solutions usually revolve around moving either the gauge or the console (or both), trying to reduce possible interference (WiFi, electrical noise, etc.), or improving reception.

Here's a post on using ferrite rings and one on an antenna extension.
