Weatherflow tempest sensors..

Post by Ben »

As a result of some testing equipment I got from WeatherFlow, I now have 2 Tempest units.
Both seem to be reaching the MeteoBridge Pro Red I have here.
For one unit I need to ignore/switch off the Wind/Anemo sensor/data (it's not suitable due to its placement)
For the second unit I need to ignore/switch off the Pressure sensor/data (it's broken).

Then the result of the two yields:
- 2 Lightning sensors,
- 2 T sensors,
- 2 RH sensors,
- 2 UV/Watt sensors
- 1 functional pressure sensor
- 1 functional wind sensor

How do I switch off the one pressure sensor and the one wind sensor that don't need to be used? Do I just change their mapping to nothing? How do I find out which sensor is which, because the mapping does not match the Live Raw Sensor Data?
Under the History tab I could get the source sensors by holding the mouse over it. So I then mapped them to "no mapping" but they keep getting mapped back. What's up with that?

OK, this is somewhat disappointing. It took me 10 minutes to selectively use only the sensors I prefer with the WeeWX udp driver for weatherflow devices.
Seems I have no real use for the meteobridge anymore.

You can define on "Mapping" tab which sensors to use as "primary" for feeding weather networks etc.
Meteobridge is very different from weeWX. So you will need a bit to adapt... as it would be the other way round.
