MB-Pro Wind speeds lower than on VP2 console

Post by WetterCH »

Hello

I would like to replace Wswin with the Meteobridge PRO, so that Wswin only stares up every 6 hours and generates the statistical data. but MB-PRO still “loses” the gusts of wind (the anemometer is probably not queried every 2.5s), since I always measure slightly higher gusts of wind with Wswin (reads the console). Is there a way to at least read out the wind data every 2.5s?

Are you talking about Meteobridge reading the sensor data directly via RF or having a Davis logger connected?

When RF reception is poor some wind data packet might be missing and by that Meteobridge might not be able to report this. Max detection is not done in the ISS but im Meteobridge based on received packets.

Other reason can be that you did not use the right template variable to get the gust data.

[wind0wind-max5.1:--] will report max wind speed of last 5 minutes. What did you use?
