Nano is not rebooting after Reset. **solved**

Post by IVD »

Hello,

My Meteobridge Nano crashed on the 27th of October 2022. This coincided with the Meteobridge server going down. Since then I cannot reboot the Nano. Following the Reset instructions, I tpressed the blue botton on the board but the red light returned to flashing rapidly. I carried out this reboot process several times but the same thing keeps on happening.
My Wifi is working well but Meteobridge cannot make a connection with the internet. I have now lost several days of data and I have no idea how to re-connect the Nano to the wifi. The Meteobridge Network is still listed on my list of networks but no connection can be made to the internet.
Can you please advise me how to restart the Nano again as I am at a loss what to try next?

Hi IVD,

Do you still have the paper manual that came with your NANO SD? In that manual you will find detailed instructions on how to use the "blue button".

It can be used for many purposes!

Here's a link to a copy for you from the Meteobridge website.

http://download.meteobridge.com/files/m ... ual-en.pdf.

Maybe (hopefully) this will help you?

Hi Emma,
That is exactly what I have been doing to Reset the Nano. The red light always returns to flashing quickly and there is not connection made with the Wifi. I contacted this group because I followed the instructions of the manual and I am not getting anyway. I am stuck!

When doing a reset also WiFi Credentials the Meteobridge used to connect to your WLAN are deleted. Therefore, it cannot connect to the Internet via your router and the download from the application stack from Meteobridge server is in an endless loop. So it never gets out of fast blinking.
Meteobridge behaves exactly as to be expected.

Reading the instructions you will find that initial setup has to be made by the WLAN the Meteobridge sets up by its own... Please just follow instructions and you will be fine again...

Hi,
It turned out to be a bit more mysterious. I was following the instructions to the letter but was not able to make the connection. In the end, I tried to connect via my IPad. I had no problem at all. I completed the setup on the Ipad and when I then went back to my Microsoft based computer I no longer had a problem. I therefore conclude that the problem was with Microsoft. What a surprise! I thought it may be useful for the user community to be aware of this.
