I had to change my network and now I can no longer connect to my Nano/SD.
Before the change my mesh router was in 'router mode' with the Nano/SD connected to my guest network which only uses 2.4 Ghz. Worked well for quite some time.
After the change, my Mesh router is in Access point modes behind a router. No further changes have been made. So the Nano still operates via the 2.4 Ghz network.
I saw after the network change that the Nano continued to collect info, ftp jobs were executed etc, etc. However, I could not log into the browser GUI nor access the Nano via smb on my iMac.
I eventually did a complete reinstallation (blue button, etc., using the Meteobridge installation WiFi network) and entered that separate network again during the installation. Then performed the test, the result of which was that everything worked fine according to the installation interface. Saved after entering time zone, lattitude and longitude and thus initiated the reboot.
Again and still after that the contact is lost, I can no longer log in to the GUI of the Nano/SD.
On the router I can see that the Nano has neatly received a (new) IP address.
I have performed the procedure several times, with the same result each time.
Pinging or finding a tracer route gives no result, the Nano cannot be found via ping.
(My wired MB Pro still worked fine after the network change)
What could be wrong?
Thanks in advance,
Bart
Meteobridge Nano/SD not accessible. **solved**

Re: Meteobridge Nano/SD not accessible
is NANO LED showing constant on or blinking fast?
Re: Meteobridge Nano/SD not accessible
The LED was constantly on. Past tense indeed. I moved the Nano to my 'main WiFi'. I turned off Mesh for the Nano and set it to only connect with 2.4Ghz. I also moved the AirLink connected to Nano.
Works (I hope permanently) well now.
The strange thing is that the Nano just did its job were it not for the fact that after the reset that work was nothing and was the only device with these "problems" on that 'guest network'. On all other devices on that network I could not access, only on the Nano. Neither via SMB nor via a browser.
I would still like to know what went wrong in my approach. I don't get it.
thanks,
Bart

Re: Meteobridge Nano/SD not accessible
NANO does not support MESH WLANs.
Re: Meteobridge Nano/SD not accessible. **solved**
My two Nanos work fine on my ASUS mesh router but only if I use separate Network names for my 2.4GHz and 5Ghz networks. Apparently, there are many 2.4Ghz only WiFi devices such as printers and wi Fi enabled cameras that will not connect to a mesh system using a unified network name.
Re: Meteobridge Nano/SD not accessible. **solved**
Yes, that's how I did it too. And in my case turn off the mesh for the Nano (in this case). Has been working for 2 years. Indeed, many IoT devices cannot work with mesh and or 5GHz. But that was not the point, the problem was the sudden occurrence of “inaccessibility”,but still doing the jobs. After my changes in the network.
Still curious about the possible cause.
Thanks,
Bart
