Even if there isn't an 'accidental' power cut of that length there will almost certainly be an occasion when the power company pre-arrange for a cut-off for most of a working day to allow for essential maintenance.
We had a 'planned' powercut to day from 09:30 to 16:00.

The NSLU2 only lasted just over an hour even though it had a whole 650VA UPS all to itself. That's a lot less time that I'd expected! :(

Edit: The short run on the UPS was presumably a UPS configuration issue of some sort? Since then I've had Meteohub running much longer on the same grade UPS.

Hello !

i use this old message.

Meteohub is very good, but he can't download the wmr200 datalogger.
It's a problem for me (frequent powercut: i have buy the wmr200 for the datalogger).

Because Meteohub can't download data from wmr200 datalogger, i think i don't use meteohub.

In fact, i don't understand why weather display can download data from wmr200 datalogger and not meteohub ?

A new version with wmr200 datalogger support is possible ?

Thanks !

The logger protocols are not published by Oregon Scientific.
During development of the WMR200, Brian the WD developer was given exclusive access to the logger protocol under a Non-Disclosure Agreement so that when the WMR200 came out there was software available that could talk to it. That's why WD has the advantage of being able to retrieve logger data.

PS. We are also subject to powercuts, but a fairly modest UPS will keep a Meteohub going for quite a few hours. What sort of duration powercuts do you suffer from?

It depends on the size of the UPS and which Meteohub hardware you have.
