WeatherUnderground data upload

Post by evan.mac »

I keep getting the following email from meteohub,
some times every hour or so.

Meteohub (meteohub): Cannot connect to Weather Network "weather underground rapid fire

Also when looking at the weatherunderground history
for my weather station I see alot of missing data for certain time periods.
I've attached a file showing what I mean. Has anyone run in to this problem. I also have times when weather underground says it hasn't been updated for quite some time but according to the history display it is being updated every 5 mins.

Thanks [file name=Weather_Station_History__Weather_Underground.txt size=21608]http://www.meteohub.de/joomla/images/fb ... ground.txt[/file]

looks like your data logger is restarting again and again. Newest Meteohub versions do improve on this. What Meteohub version are you running?

However, if you have a wmr-200 you might also consider using ferrite cores on your USB cable, clear the internal data logger and work on optimization of the unit's placement to minimize rf influence.

Hi, Thanks for the response. I'm running version 4.2c. The problem has gotten worse since moving to the ebox 3300. I have a wmr100 and I have ferrite cores on both ends of the usb cable. I moved the unit about 3 feet but now I'm getting no signal from the rain gage. I will try resetting the gage and I will clear the data logger (how do I do that?). Should I see the data logger starting and stopping in the meteohub log? If so I don't see it.
Thanks,
Evan
