New tp-link won't connect to router. **solved**

So I bought a new tp link and it to won't work, easily so far, to connect to an existing router. It only connects with direct cable but not wifi.

The router isn't a mesh router, that I can see. It's Linksys EA8300

Anyone have any ideas? It has worked for months/ years without issues and now issues.

I should also mention that I must of not done the reset procedure correctly the first time, thankfully. I was able to get the first unit connection settings to reset to default
Both work correctly when directly wired.

No idea what changed/ happened to make it not cooperate suddenly.

Still any comments, ideas, or suggestions are needed!
