I have created a meteobridge server on a RPi4 and i want to update the templates, most of all the Aurora MKII
While i have read the help file and searched the FAQ and forum, i am not be able to find the buttons mentioned in step 3 of the simple updater pdf and i cannot upload the latest zip file. Of course i have tried uploading it through SMB to various folder but it still not available in Aurora Dashboard admin page for the updates.
I would also like to know how to update using the Weather34.zip file since all my versions are default as provided in Meteobridge 5.6 (Mar 22 2023, build 2944), FW 1.4

good morning the simple updates you see on this forum are for the public version (website owners) of Aurora MKII version , these updates are not compatible with the internal built in versions in Meteobridge itself and these updates do not have an upload button , you simply upload via FTP or hosted file manager panel with the latest download zip file to your server (template directory). then simply use the in built template un-zipper feature this basically updates all required files . to use the updates must be running August 2022 aurora MKII version or later. available in the thread viewtopic.php?t=16253
Only Boris (Meteobridge developer) can apply changes universally to the firmware releases to reflect current Aurora MKII features.
Thank you Brian for the input, i copied with putty the zip files to \www\PWS4 in order for Aurora Dashboard to "see" them and not the SMB paths that i get by default in meteobridge, ofcourse not i get a message that php version does not support unzip functionality . I'll have a look on that too
