So in relation to this news I take it Meteobridge Twitter feature will stop working then?

Hard to say. Looks like write only bots (which meteobridge is) might still be supported for free...

Twitter dropped the API Meteobridge is using. I currently don't have a solution to this.

same here. I'm moving to Mastodon for now. hopefully will have it up and running this weekend.
