NanoSD reboot: "not fully started" "disable samba on request"

Post by jasonmfarrow »

I had to reboot my NANOSD today. All was going well but the meteobridge web interface never returned to normal operation. It's stuck on the following two messages: Warning: Meteobridge not fully started yet. Please lean back and wait a moment... and Status: disable samba on request. It's been stuck at this point for more than the usual 5-minutes or less that the standard reboot takes.

I cannot get into the NANO to see the logging or to initiate a further reboot. However, in the background, it does appear to be serving data to my various weather nets. The onboard meteobridge/PWS weather display is working.

Does anyone know what's causing this and how I can fix it?
Regards
Jason

After SSH'ing in and using the reboot command a couple of times (the first couple did nothing, as did pushing the blue reset button on the NanoSD itself) it seems to have cleared. The logging shows no errors.

Any idea if we can diagnose this?
