Meteobridge NANO looses connection to Leaf Wetness & Soil Moisture/Temperature Station

Post by bommelpommel »

Hi,
the title already says it all ... I have a DAVIS Vantage Pro with a Leaf Wetness & Soil Moisture/Temperature Station. The Nano randomly looses the connection to the Soil Moisture station. Recovering is simple, since a reboot will re-establish the connection.

Questions:
- Is that a known issue ... can I send something helping to fix it?
- Is there a way I can reboot the Nano from the outside? My automation solution is monitoring the bridge anyway and if I could send a /reboot request, that might be a "fix"

Thanks

Enno

you can issue a reboot by calling this URL via curl or wget:

Code: Select all

http://ip-of-your-meteobridge/cgi-bin/meteobridge?page=3&subpage=1&reboot=

When you give me remote access I can try to find out why your sensors disappear. Are you sure that the console does still get the data when they no longer appear within the NANO? A problem on the RF reception side of the DAVIS console would be my 1st guess.

What is the relative relationship between the Nano/console, the ISS and #6345

Thanks ... let me see when I got the "next disconnect" and I will ping you.

The Davis console is still receiving data at this point, which is why a reboot "fixes" the issue.

Currently the bridge does not receive data - did not yet restart. Is there a log I should send?

Actually the bridge is sending data, but somehow the template is mixing things up ... will update after some research.
