i only use a mac os so anything windows based is beyond me.

ive made some minor changes so check https://whaleybridge-weather.com/weathe ... layout.php for any improvements if any.
i checked with Firefox,Chrome,Safari,Opera,Microsoft Edge but I dont know how many of them rely on the mac(OS) webkit engine. i dont see any anomalies in terms of stray lines your seeing ..

menu height can be adjusted but there are that literally fill the menu up with there own useful personal links etc so hence its set to max height of window as I have know way of knowing what others may require.

Hi Brian

I do like the new gauges but not sure what they show

For example looking at whaleybridge weather site and the temperature gauge you have tick marks for 0 deg and 25 deg but with the current temperature of 9 DegC the green divisions go below the 0 Deg mark which would suggest to me the minimum temperature went below zero which it hasnt done

So what do the green division show , Im a bit confused

Warm wishes

Graham

fits now, no more stripes :-)

the distances between the modules are not quite the same if you look very closely

Torsten enough Im done till next time thanks for your observations it helps (your like an eagle) :-) ps the wind module is larger to cater for more data I'm sure I could align it better but Im done for a while..

Graham all noted so I have adjusted the temperature modules to try and reflect negative temperatures better ,there basically just acting as relative indicators not precise accurate just indicators ,its not easy as these basically are progress gauges which are better for positive values , not all the modules have to reflect negatives , Im sure there are better solutions to this approach but Im afraid Im out of time to do anymore at present . Perhaps during nearer easter (ENTHUSIASM MIGHT RETURN) I will come back to it .Has you probably noticed Im not so active last six months simply loathe the idea of wasting the day sitting in front of a computer so I gave it shot for the last 4 weeks but I find it tedious these days and not inspiring and simply I can live without a computer quite easily these days (hey each to their own) .

anyway so later today I upload the simple update also made some adjustments to other modules this morning see below ..

https://whaleybridge-weather.com/weathe ... layout.php

thank you all for the feedback an ideas..brian

Link to MASTER Aurora MKII 2024 (7.39mb) template :https://www.mediafire.com/file/4t58g74x ... 4.zip/file

24th December 2023
Link to Simple update 2024-R2 (4.1mb) template:https://www.mediafire.com/file/zw8sohga ... 2.zip/file
SIMPLE UPDATE
Weather34-simple-update-2024-R2.zip contains all the updates for year change over in charts ,updated forecast module, updated purple air module plus minor fixes/

Master from the download above (December 2023) contains all files this file is not for upgrading it will over write all your existing data, historic data, config settings ..

Simple updates are NOT compatible with any earlier releases prior to June 2023 .
.

I strongly and highly recommend that you consider using or switching to another template to suit your needs as this template no longer is regularly developed ,it will only receive minor updates probably once a year unless a significant update is required for PHP or some other significant error. there are many good alternatives available via various weather community forums please consider using those.

season greetings have a merry Christmas and a happy prosperous new year .. brian

Hi Brian

Thanks for the update

I have a voc sensor in my Purple Air AQ sensor and I wondered if it is possible to display this value ( I think you call it the CO2 value ). It shows N/A at the moment but I recall this value used to be shown

If its easier perhaps you would point me at the files I would need to change and Ill have a go myself

Warm wishes

Hi Graham no problem find link to zip https://www.mediafire.com/file/pnh3s4ta ... 4.zip/file

just unzip to desktop etc and upload weather34-paq-2024.php to where template is , it works if no CO2 displays EPA Standard , if CO2 is available shows value .all I have time for now .. have a good evening ..brian

Thank you. Now everything works fine for me too. I just have one more problem. The maximum wind speed should be 53.3km/h instead of 14km/h.

just download and run the simple update again
Link to Simple update 2024-R2 (4.7mb) template: https://www.mediafire.com/file/zw8sohga ... 2.zip/file
Simple update 2024-R2 includes all files for year change over for charts.

sorry it was reading max wind speed not max gust speed as per original layouts.

there are other small changes in the update might be of use just minor things nothing significant..

hopefully thats it ..brian

good morning Graham

i cant be of much help but here is a comparison and your current purple air does it does not reflect CO2(VOC) data in the outputs , is the VOC actually working because it looks as if it not ??

cant help much on this looks potentially are hardware issue..

also see gary 'whaleybridge' his is working fine as seen in the last output below

so this one below show VOC in the output (purpleair.txt) is actually your data from I probably used as a setup earlier this year converting the timestamp Saturday, 25 February 2023 06:17:23 * BME680 sensor is registered !
