ok i saw it in the email, i placed my PA api key and again nothing so definitely server related to that file , as a test set all permissions on that purpleair.txt file 777 just as a test
then run yourdomain/pws/mbdbfiles/stationcron.php

hello obviously it continues not to work even with your instructions systematically I have an empty .txt file and no data recovery in the block_template Regards

you have a localised issue what it is I dont know and not possible for me to diagnose unless you want to provide FTP access thats all I can offer, all sites using purple air use the exact same script and nothing has changed in how purple air modules collects the data via the API since introduction of CO2(VOC) which at a guess was 2020-21 so same script still in use. some examples below..brian

ps was you the same guy/user from weather display many years ago(year 2016 at a guess) if so I seem to remember there were some specific issues related to your sites forgive me if Im wrong ..

my opinion to theme 8, if the compass is no longer displayed round, then please display a range of degrees.

As if you were looking at the compass from the front:

I found in my archives a backup from January 2022 where the PurpleAir script was functional for me for the same sensor
without referring to the new API and mentioning that I have not modified in my hosting setup??
an inspection I think will not give much!! what continues to concern me is that each time the "stationcron" is launched manually
I systematically have a null .txt file AND ONLY for this script?? and this exclusively after updating the template (after prolonged inactivity on my part)

all noted lets see how it evolves , i can try and if it works without becoming messy or unbalanced ill implement it.

as it is now it is very easy to maintain/modify by end user .

@Lorenzo all noted ..be nice if you report back when changes are made sometimes I need the input due to different weather sensor scenarios around the world, will change it in time for next update..

as it is now , in the temperature module there are three scenarios feels like, windchill , heat index obviously based on localised seasonal changes.

if no UV max greater than zero the chart shows solar data if greater than zero again seasonal for those who live north of watford gap (northern hemisphere)

@meteolivexxxxx provide FTP access via mail i will look closer but I can assure you nothing changed in respect to purple air otherwise multiple users would be highlighting same issue your seeing.

thanks got the ftp and now ok its working now you had a very old stationcron file see below ,ive added the most recent script your existing script was either modified or just way old method.dont know but sometimes i need closer access to diagnose , it was to easy to spot ..have a good day..brian

taken the compass layout from the airport popup ..is this something better than text ???

i dont have the enthusiasm to compile brand new stuff when there a few alternatives in the various layouts ..brian

Ideas? of course

+ The diagrams for the air quality in Theme 8 are still missing.
+ We now have a lot of themes, it would be nice if the currently selected theme number in the menu could be identified with a different color.
+ The menu in Theme 8 overlaps the footer.
+ The font size in the menu changes between different themes, I find the font size in the menu of Theme 5 suitable?
