Forecast variable. **solved**

Post by ramon.sala »

I'm trying to configurate an even that sells a email with the forecast for the day, but actually it doesn't work. My meteobrigde gets the data directly from the ISS. I think it has to get the data also from de console as I suppose the forecast is computed by the console. So I configured the console as reemiting data in transmitter 2 and the meteobridge gets data from transmitter 1 in addition to transmitter 2.

Forecast are only available if using a Davis station and only if the MB connects direct to the console.

Thanks Mattk for your answer. I connected meteobridge with the console (in relay mode via transmitter 2) and it doesn't work either.

No, Re-transmit from the console is basically an ISS with a different TX ID so no difference to that of the main ISS. For a MB to read a Davis forecast you need to have a physical cable connection through a logger
