NanoSD access issue

NanoSD access issue
My Vantage Pro 2 with a NanoSD in the Console is working well providing output to my website. I have the higher capacity version. I suspected that I had a problem with my charts when the graph stopped tracing data mid day. On investigation I seem unable to view the meteobridge file structure. It shows the various directories but Charts just refuses to open. I have tried the Remote option but I just get the Oops screen suggesting a reboot. I opened the console and gave the nanoSD a single press on the reset button and the red led changed from on to flashing and back to on after a short while. Is this the correct reboot procedure? Apart from not getting to the files and no longer am able to access the main meteobridge setup screens. Any help would be appreciated.
Re: NanoSD access issue
How were you trying to access the files? SMB or built in file access?
When you say higher capacity verison, what capacity are you referring to?
You may need to reference the WiKi regard how to setup and manage the NanoSD?

Re: NanoSD access issue
I am using a MacBook and I normally access the files via Finder/Go/Connect to Server/smb://meteobridge.
What I meant by the higher capacity is that when I bought the NanoSD I opted for the higher priced version which referred to the mSD card.
I suspected that my Chart directory could have required some file deletions but that was only a theory.
See https://bobhewitt.co.uk/Chart/lastchart.html which at 08:40 showed a data fault at 07:02
Re: NanoSD access issue
Ok so what do you see under System>Information then in the [Maintenance] box>Media Access: [Download or Delete Files]? DO you see a Charts folder?
And similar with the [Upload Files] option, do you see [Charts] in the drop down store file option?

Thanks Matt
I have done three reboots now (last night and two this morning). I referred to the reboot button options which I had forgotten (an age thing). I might now be ok as the Charts folder is now showing three files. If you re click on the link I sent the data has all come back with no gaps. The desktop is now showing which it wasn't before. Fingers crossed it has been fixed.
I couldn't answer your last question about looking in system as I wasn't sure how to do that. Another senior moment I guess!

Re: NanoSD access issue
I am still having problems with the blue screen loading. When it does it is not responsive. I tried your suggestion and found System>Information but I just could see where to find the Maintenance part.
Re: NanoSD access issue
please the IP of the Meteobridge instead of the name "meteobridge". I needed to reduce the name services on the lates NANO and PRO2 updates in order to avoid out of memeory situations.
Re: NanoSD access issue
I am still having no access to the MB blue screens. I took off the console back cover and the red LED on the NanoSD is flashing rapidly. Not sure how long this has been flashing. Will it stop itself eventually or should I remove power (and batteries) or perhaps press the blue button.

Re: NanoSD access issue
Single push of button does not issue a reboot. Reading the manual helps!
So your problem is not that you cannot reach the file shares but that you cannot reach the GUI at all (when I get your latest statements right). When LED is stuck in fast blinking the NANO cannot access your WLAN and/or Internet.Reset
When NANO is stuck at blinking fast or LED is steady on you can do some reset operations by pressing the small blue button on the NANO board next to the pin header. Which operation is triggered by pressing the button is determined by how long you keep the button pressed. When pressing down the button the LED will go off and will then start blinking slowly. You can now select a special reset operation by keeping the button pressed until a specific number of blinks is done. These are the reset options to choose from:
• Release button before first blink: NANO will indicate its IP by blink sequences. Please read www.meteobridge.com “getting started” section to learn how to read the blinks.
• Release button at first blink: Resets password of WiFi access point that the NANO provides for initial login. Password is set to “meteobridge” und NANO is rebooted.
• Release button at second blink: Resets HTTP password to “meteobridge” and reboots.
• Release button at fifth blink: Reset NANO to factory defaults (all settings are lost) and reboot.
Please login to the WiFi which is setup by the Meteobridge itself (as you did during initial setup) and fix your network settings there.
Re: NanoSD access issue
Thanks for your help. I did the reset (5 lights)
Used the 192,168.169.1 for the initial wifi and sucessfully got the 3 green ticks. Went back to my wifi and I am waiting with this message =
Warning: Meteobridge not fully started yet. Please lean back and wait a moment..
The LED is static red.
I will sit back assuming all is wel but is seems a long moment?

Re: NanoSD access issue
Nearly back!
On the main menu tabs I seem to be missing the last one which related to Graphs and I think the PWS NanoSD display. Has something changed or have I missed a tick box somewhere. Luckily I took a backup when I started having issues and restored this.

Re: NanoSD access issue
When the SD card is not recognized, some items in the menu will be missing.
Can you please share the "System - Information" tab?

Re: NanoSD access issue
The Graphs tab has reappeared.
What alerted me to a possible problem was my Daily Graph just stopped tracing data. I have rebooted the system today so I will check tomorrow if there is still a problem.
I have noticed that the SMB access to Data is extremely slow. The folder like Templates take a long time opening. In fact I give up but when I come back perhaps 30 minutes later the template files are showing again. Not a problem really as it's not something I do often.
Did the screenshot requested appear?
Re: NanoSD access issue
Looks like you might have WLAN access problems. Weak signal?
Re: NanoSD access issue
Sorted. I run a webcam (Foscam R2M) and use a free service up to 1000 hits a month. Yesterday evening I received an invoice as I had over 1700 hits in March. This seems unlikely as the webcam link isn't on my website and I only occasionally view it when I am away from home. On investigation of a detailed hit list I have been charged for lots of BOT type hits probably swamping my router/wifi and could well have been the cause of my poor MB connection. So you were correct.
It's a shame that I cannot seem to use the MB webcam system but all attempts have so far failed.
