Meteobridge VM and Weatherflow. **solved**

Post by cynicuk »

Hi,

I have a 3 node Proxmox cluster and have setup a Meteobridge VM as per the instructions, can access it ok and set it all up as per my existing meteobridge that is running on a RPi.

My weatherstation is a Weatherflow Tempest, when I select that in the VM the data logger restarts then waits............and gives up never receiving any data from the Weatherflow hub.

I don't have any firewall setup and using tcpdump I can see the UDP packets being received from the Weatherflow hub on the bridge interface vmbr0 on the proxmox node.

Any suggestions on what the problem might be or where to check ?

Thanks

May be some code is missing, as I currently don't have a weatherflow system in operation to test with. Can you please give me remote access and send credentials to "info(at)meteobridge.com"?

Inspection showed that cynicuk is operating a PROXMOX cluster. Theses clusters do not support forwarding of UDP broadcasts while singular PROXMOX installation should do.
