Continuing Update Problems!

Post by MJC55 »

I'm running Meteohub v4.3c. I noticed that v4.3d is available. When I click the "Check for Update" button on the "Maintenance" page I keep getting a message "No update available." This has happened the last two updates I've tried to perform. I then try to open the Meteohub server folder to update by the "file" method. When I attempt to open the Meteohub folder I am prompted to enter a user name and password. I have tried entering my Meteohub web interface login info along with the user name and password "meteohub" "meteohub" and I can't get in to the data/transfer/update folder. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi. I have to ask this to make sure that this isn't a browser issue. Have you tried to access it with a different browser or one where there are no preexisting cookies that might be causing an issue?

I'm using IE 8 and haven't tried using another browser. I did finally manage to get the update installed using the file method. I was having some network issues that I think I got resolved.

I just sucessfully did an automatic update to 4.3d (from 4.3a) with IE8, so at least it is possible under some circumstances.

Updating with the web method has never worked with IE (tried IE6 and IE7) for me so I've used Firefox for that.
