VP2 & WDL

I'm going to finally bite the bullet and buy a VP2 Plus after weeks of problems with WD which does not run on my server anymore and I can not get a fix (but that’s another story).

I want to ask anybody who runs a VP2 and WDL of the MH box or slug or has MH create the clientdraw files upload to their site.
(a web address to site running this solution would be appreciated)

Does MH pass on the current conditions text & Icons to WDL?

I ask because at present I run a WMR-100 which does not pass this information on, so I can’t tell if this upgrade will give me the same solution I have with WD creating the file for WDL.

I know MH is limited to updating WLD files every minute, and can not have moon data but I am asking if there are any other limitations using WDL from MH with a VP2.

How do you get the correct moon phase image?

One thing I did notice is that you solar graphs for last 24 hours and last hour in WDL do not appear to work?

Hello,
the Images for the Moon are the Standart Icons from Meteohub and uploadet by Meteohub. I think it works fine.
This is a good question with the solar 24h an 1h graph. I have wdlive version 5.04 for testing under http://www.hof-carstens.de/standart/wdlive.html there it works. It use exact the same data as Version 6.04 on the main page.
Maybe my config file is incorrect, but i didn´t found the error.

I asked Julian Best (wd-live) because of the missing 1h and 24h graph since Version 6 and he answered this:

Hi

Recent versions of WDL make use of extra solar values to give a higher resolution graph display. These values are contained at the end of the clientrawhour.txt file but it looks like Meteohub doesn’t currently provide them. Maybe you can talk to Boris (Meteohub) and he’ll be able to provide this in a future version?

I guess that this problem only effects VP users, as there are not many station that provide solar.

We'll have to see if Boris will be willing to add this addition to the clientrawhour.txt template so Meteohub builds the clientrawhour.txt file with the correct information for version 6.04 to get the solar graph to work.

Hopefully it will not require to much work!
