I'm setting up the Aurora dashboard, and i'm very happy with the results so far!
a couple of things are on my wish-list;
1. I set up 'soil temperature', this works fine, but the displayed temp has no decimals. I'd love to see the exact temp of the grass-sensor, mounted at 10 cm above the soil.
2. I'd love to see translations, in my case Dutch, but I bet German, French, Spanish and other languages would also be greatly appreciated.
I'd be happy to do the Dutch translations, as i did earlier for Meteobridge.
3. Sunshine sensor support; I have an Instromet sun sensor. It would be great to use the data (already collected by my Davis/Meteobridge) in the Aurora dash.
Thx!
Gerhard

1.happy to compile/rework a module not sure about the 10cm idea its only possible if the data is provided via the Meteobridge output.i can compile modules for any data that is present in the output .
2.languages

3.i have mentioned this too Boris I'm happy to compile something but I do not want interfere cause confusion and throw him additional requirements , he is done remarkably well in learning how the template functioned and has applied his own ideas so Im sure by end of year he may look at additional ideas but for now Im sure he is on a steep learning curve. its no fun taking on someones work/code every web designer has there style in coding , i loathed the idea when I worked as web designer years ago, i dreaded taking over someones code because there was a time consuming learning curve but back then that what i was paid todo .
so im around to help based on requests from Boris but i'm NOT intervening or INTERFERING unless requested from Boris.

2.languagesdue to the fact there are 10 themes/layouts applying translations is a major task and introduces other design issues .many years ago the template in its earlier form had translations for 27 languages !! it was a nightmare to design around simply the word length variations in different languages some were long and some were short for the same meaning and this caused a big headache when designing the modules.even back then i think only two layouts were used but now the template evolved not only in layouts but charts and other additional features . other main issue with language support was actually maintaining the language support for new ideas/modules often two or three languages were regularly updated but many were not simply the commitment waned from many individuals over time . I speak two languages thats it English and Turkish beyond that i was dependent on individuals updating languages this is where it hindered progress /ideas.So has much the idea is brilliant maintaining is a different outcome and support one or two you got to support the rest not good to focus on individual without considering others.ps don't use google translate as a source !!

Hi Brian,
Thanks for the response to my 'wishlist'.
1.As the T10cm or Grasstemp is a WMO-standardized measurement this would be helpful. Now most people use Extra temp xx for T10cm / Grasstemperature. But I guess you need an output with the right name. I'll check with Boris if it is possible to create the right output. maybe via a virtual sensor.
2. I can imagine this is a lot of work! but in the non-english speaking parts of the world it might be worth it if you ask me

3 I totally get that! But this one should be easier as the latest Meteobridge-version already supplies the total sunshine-hours, and percentage of sun in the last hour.
Again, thanks for the reply, and the great Aurora dashboard!
