Not sure if this is a template problem or my configuration.
All of the Aurora templates I try will only display my lightning strike counts, but not distance to the station. Lighting distance is reported to Meteobridge, and Meteobridge has an existing mapping variable to support it, a placeholder in the template, but the number doesn’t post properly.
Perhaps my mapping is not correct . Below is my Mapping from a Ecowitt GW2000 (in the third station position )
Sensor is a WH57 in a sheltered box, distance data is displayed in Ecowitt app, and appears in the Meteobridge monitor menu.
Do I need to define parameters using a virtual sensor? I’m lost ?

Re: Lighting Distance Sensor for Aurora Templates
We had a thunderstorm this morning, I was able to compare the aurora lightning box with the Ecowitt display side by side
Each time I got a strike it was displayed properly on the Ecowitt, but the aurora readings were all over the place and many times didn’t update at all. Sometimes the number of strikes appears in the distance box.
The “announcement” warning box would pop up with each strike, but the distance reading was blank.
