Communication WL console 6313 and Meteobridge **solved**

Post by Weerman53 »

hi

We have a problem with the reception of the data from the console to the meteobridge Pro 2
Situation:
The console receives data from two stations (ISS and temp station) via a LR repeater so far everything OK.
the console is connected to the wifi and the meteobridge settings also on the wifi network.

Meteobridge does not seem to pick up the signal from the console, reception quality is poor.
Meteobridge settings (see picture).

Question, can it be that the console has to be on a retransmit and where can we find this.
Or is the metobridge setting not correct.

Cancel that, now I see the 6313. 6313 doesn't talk to anybody except Davis Weatherlink.com

How far between the MBPro2 and LR Repeater? Have you tried settings "receive RF data directly" from the repeater?

Are you sure the 6313 can re-transmit?

Distance is LR repeater and Meteobridge is 10 meters, the LR repeater transmits to the console, setup console station #4 and #5 receiver LR repeater channel A.
Where can I find the setting in the meteobridge
"receive RF data directly" from the repeater.

Settings: receive RF data directly
Try Sensitivity around -80dB
ID#'s as per ISS & Other Stn
MBPro2 doesn't care about the repeater channel
That should work?

Hi
Thanks for your feedback.

That the 6313 has no repeat function is useful info.
Sensitivity reduced to -75db because signal strength incoming is -62db.
MB faq advises difference of 10db between reception and sensitivity.

We also replaced the standard MB antenna with a groundplane, which improved the signal by another -10db.

Best regards

Good morning
Do you have a ground plane with the same frequency of Meteobridge (868 MhZ)

Thanks
