Feature Request FTPS with Passive mode

Since the RPi3 and RPi4 devices are more powerful and do not face memory problems, in order to be able to utilize them as best as possible,
could there be a version of meteobridge only for RPi devices that supports in addition to FTP and the FTPS protocol in the future?

The answer is that I don't have it on my todo list, because I do not intend to further split development branches for the various platforms. FTP and SFTP are good options. Please make your peace with it.

I changed hosting and went to another one that supports the SFTP protocol!

I entered the settings that the provider gave me (image)

When I click Test SFTP nothing happens and after a while the meteobridge page disappears and a white page appears that says “BAD GATEWAY”

I tried with Putty, FileZilla, WinSCP and I connect normally!

Not with meteobridge

What am I doing wrong?

After I set up the SFTP settings, why does the upload status say it's trying to connect to FTP?

You are still on FTP, not SFTP (as I can see from the error message naming ncftpput).
At least sharing the used host URL would be helpful.

The settings I need to set from the provider that hosts my page are
Host: sftp://ftp.meteovyronas.gr
Port: 2234

The message from meteobridge is
Error: SFTP test upload failed: /usr/bin/ssh: Connection to
******@sftp:22 exited: Connect failed: Error resolving 'sftp' port '22'. Name does not resolve

The option "Test Proxy-SFTP"
displays the message
Error: Proxy-SFTP test upload failed: Error: SFTP connect to sftp://ftp.meteovyronas.gr via port 2234 failed.

That is, meteobridge does not see port 2234?
It only sees ports 21 and 22?

Can the problem be resolved in the next upgrade?

This is getting a bit long in the teeth. SFTP and Proxy-SFTP work fine for tons of users, there is nothing to be fixed. Most common error is to specify a path that does not exist.

I was able to fix those typical user errors by remotely logging in on their Meteobridge and setting it up correctly. When you have the needed trust, please send credentials to "info(at)meteobridge.com". I am 100% sure Meteobridge can do SFTP uploads to any SFTP supporting web hoster.
