Good evening

waited a week to see if any other issues required some attention .

Aurora Master template file and a Simple Update November 2025 file have been sent to Boris for him to distribute .

Thats it from me for a while but feel free to raise anything and if Im around ill quite happily address them .

Changes Aurora November 2025….


1.Fixed MENU overlap when using iPhone Pro Max phones or IOS26 .can only test on iPhone 16 Pro Max but I assume it is same on all Pro Max VERSIONS due to larger screen capability. Fixed layout view when iPhone is horizontal. see below.

2.Fixed air quality data modules when value is Zero or data not present .see below

3.Adjusted Webcam large image view where temperature/wind overlaps .see below

4.Updated version description to November 2025.

5.Minor adjustment for Apple Watch Ultra1/ 2/3 versions .should be fine on S10/11 or lower series.

6.Minor changes to support upcoming PHP 8.5 release .

7.Fxed where Celsius does not switch to Fahrenheit in some menu layouts

8.Adjusted modal lightbox pop up screens to be more visible on mobile

9.Added new simple setup screen option to show template temperature/wind in webcam screen

hello

on your iPhone goto website in safari then simply share via an sms message to yourself then on watch open messages and click it and voila. not unique to template works with any website .
example shows this forum and theme 9 in template. so in short the actual watch icon is redundant so could be removed in future updates. when viewing on watch you can pinch the screen to increase size. and using message method anytime you want to view on watch just open the message bit like a bookmark. hope that helps..brian

Thanks for the updates Brian!

I'd love to see decimals in the soil temperature-module. The decimals are visible in the chart, but not in the module. Hope this is possible!

unfortunately I dont have any data for that sensor so I just created a figure . its in the format(mynumberformat simply removed) its a simple fix but I have already sent the updated versions to Boris .if you highlighted last week it would have been included. next update but I have no idea when they will be .

Brian,

I am probably too late, but are you able to add an option in the setup menu to see either light or dark theme as the defaut. On my phone it seems to default to the dark theme whereas I prefer the light theme. There used to be an option to set the default.

Sorry for being late to this one, so understand totally if I have missed the boart.

i spoke to Boris briefly has he is preoccupied this week it gives me another week to apply those ideas .

paul your site here defaults to light theme not sure if its an IOS thing or template but i will take a look this week. see screenshot

Could the view for the iPhone 16 be optimized so that there are no black bars on the right and left, but instead the modules extend to the edge? Yes, I can double-tap the screen, but it would be nice if there were no black bars right from the start.

hello

already addressed see changes number 1 from above post. not sure about iphone 16 full width i only have 16 pro max which is a larger screen the 16 pro . not sure i want go down the more multiple screens sizes. think leaving it has it is works across most screen devices.

Speaking from the camp of ones who have enough know-how to copy/paste some code with a few mods and am amazed to be able to set up website with host; we are extremely grateful for the ones who know what to do for the complicated particulars.

last call out I'm here till late Sunday anything required ? any ideas ? after that(Sunday) not possible to implement until a later date in 2026 .

Paul theme default i had to re educate myself and I relized way back in 2022 perhaps earlier the theme switching for light dark was simplified based user system .this basically merged all css into one file has where before there were two files one light and one dark , over the 10 layouts it reduced the need to run 2 css files per theme so 20 additional files each time now its one file per theme and one script .

sorry m8 but yes there used to be a default layout colour option now its dependent on device .

It only seems to be my iphone 16 that seems to default to the dark one all the time. On all my other laptops and Macs it remembers that I like the white one! Is there something I need to do to my iphone to make it default to the light one?

Thanks for looking into this. I already have my phone set to light appearance and it still defaults to the dark theme. It means I just click on the colour change button so really not an issue!
