MB PRO2 cannot connect to the network

Post by BeBe »

The MB PRO2 cannot connect to the network.
When I start the MB PRO2, the green light turns on and the orange light flashes rapidly.
After a few minutes, the message "no network found" appears.
The PRO2 is connected to the network switch by cable. After a while, the orange light turns on constantly, and shortly after, the screen goes black, and the red light flashes irregularly at short intervals. Activating the PRO2 with a paperclip in the pinhole has no effect.
The problem arose after I tried to fix the IPO address and restarted the PRO2. Before that, it was working fine.

Why did the IP address require fixing? What did you do to fix the IP address?

Did you follow the "Recovering from Connection issues" as per the Pro2 manual? Which option did you choose?

The IP address changed spontaneously, and then I tried to fix it. This probably used an IP address that was already in use.
I waited until the yellow LED flashed rapidly and then tried pressing the button in the pinhole with a paperclip, but that didn't work: I didn't get the options described in the Pro2 manual.

I tested with my PRO2 and the display menu always appears, even when display switched of on "system - admin" tab. Are you sure you toggled the switch with a paperclip?
