How to manually update a MB PRO2 to FW version 1.5

The new firmware version 1.5 for Meteobridge PRO2 models with 32 MB flash storage can be flashed to the device with the simple help of a prepared USB stick. Updating these new 32 MB models to FW 1.5 fixes the "dead button" problem of the button behind the pin hole on the front panel. While you don't need this button for daily operation, it is a good tool to reset a misconfigured PRO2. Therefore, applying the FW update might make sense to you.

Update can be done in a few simple steps:

• Before doing the reflash please store your Meteobridge settings with corresponding options on "System - Administration" tab.
• Take a usual USB stick with a FAT32 partition and extract the content of the mbpro2-reflash.zip archive on it. You need to unzip the file: https://content.meteobridge.com/files/m ... eflash.zip
• Put the USB stick into the front USB socket and power cycle the Meteobridge.
• Display will tell if it reflashes the Meteobridge or if the flash cannot be applied for reasons displayed on the OLED. Don't power cycle or reset the Meteobridge while flashing is ongoing.
• When flashing is done, Meteobridge will reboot and automatically reinstall your settings. Please check settings and restore your own copy if needed. Done.
