Aurora 2026 Rev-2.01 Release

Brian,

Latest update seems to throw up an error for me in reference to line 5 of settings.php which seems to be about the variable "theme". It kicks in when you go into the setup screen. I added in the station name and clicked save. The error then appeared when you go into the main webpage.

I have reverted back to the previous verion (K) and everything is back to normal.

ok no problem added back in theme option but not sure need to look closer to understand why that caused an error .

also added updates penned for next weekend as Im not around this week have a old school friend coming to stay till Friday been 40 years since I last seen him ..

see screenshot of your log below you have many cumulus errors and leftovers from older versions of template .

I have the template installed on a Mac on my local network. I would appreciate a description of how to feed data from my NanoSD on the same network to the template. I believe it involves setting up an http event but I have been unable to find an explanation of how it is to be done and the syntax for it.

I appreciate the help and look forward to testing the new release.

thanks for the update, it resolves a lot of issues.

Attached a new php.log with some leftovers?

Also, if I want to see the charts, like 2026 feb, my website crashes and is not available anymore for 30-45 minutes, hence the 500 error you saw earlier in this thread;

new stuff FEBRUARY 10TH-14th

in menu added units circle colour highlighting current unit in menu(adds blue circle to current unit)

added go to top arrow (helps in mobile layout portrait)

reworked all modules with title and chart icons

reworked WU forecast page

removed unused CSS (quite common to build up a lot of unused css when developing/compiling

improved CSS grid layout structure for all modules

corrected all modules max/min appearance

reworked all icons colouring

removed unused jQuery scripts

added future custom beta modules code ( not active looking for ideas of additional personal weather station data, sorry no offsite iframe data, no scraping of data from sources must be personal data owned by you or registered to you to use !! )

reworked simple update screen

reworked Woodsmoke descriptions for Airlink and Purple Air bottom small modules

updated webcam section of setup screen
added webcam location show yes or no
added webcam location description to setup screen
(for your privacy concerns you can disable this being shown via the new setup screen option show location yes/no)

added Air quality mask icon for 150 and above

added optional second sun moon module

(Ramadan month begins 19th February ,for me this is a quiet month locally good time to do things like this)
1. custom modules options in setup screen
2.write up how to create a short dedicated second API to run additional sensors not present in master API output
3.open to ideas to improve overall experience and visuals

With this update I think this version is looking really crisp. Best one yet.

Only thing I can see is that using chrome on my Mac the top of the screen is slightly cut off. The top of the setting screen icon is chopped off on mine (www.paulwilman.com/W34)

Other than that it all loks great

did someone ask me how to send meteobridge data to a local hosted server I'm guessing on a home PC or laptop ?
if so let me know again its not for the faint hearted or inexperienced and its definitely not a 100% reliable but if you want a challenge .
if its for Mac I maybe able to help if its windows I haven't a clue ..
