NANOSD Wi-Fi AP is enabled when disabled

Post by politely6808 »

I discovered that the Stand-Alone Wi-FI Access Point on the NANOSD is enabled and broadcasting when it is disabled in the Network settings. My config uses the Wi-Fi client only. Software Version: Meteobridge 6.3 (Apr 11 2026, build 5171)
I verified this with a Unifi environment scan. SSID=meteobridge-[mac address]. Is anyone else seeing this?

Is the Stand-alone WiFi AP always broadcasting or on following a reboot?

Even with the Stand-Alone button not Enabled the WiFi AP will be active on a reboot then after around 975 seconds (15+ minutes) will be disabled as per System>Logging.

It will show in Unifi Site Survey (and Laptop WiFi networks etc) then disappear when disabled after the prescribed time.

It is always broadcasting. I rebooted it 20 hrs ago for an update and the AP is still active according to unifi. Here's the relevant log entries.

Okay, I made a mistake. It was broadcasting yesterday, and Unifi keeps a history. It is no longer transmitting when I set a short timeline. Thanks for the clarification on this behavior.
