unable to connect meteobridge pro2

Post by mauvm »

Hi.

I am unable to connect to the /cgi-bin/meteobridge app (i.e. the redirect path) over wifi. I get this error: Not found. The requested URL /cgi-bon/meteobridge was not found on this server.

When I try with LAN I get the following error:
Forbidden
Rejected request from RFC1918 IP to public server address

I tried doing a number of factory resets, waiting a while, and I still can't get the app to run.

What should I do to be able to connect it to my router or wifi and open the app?

There is no app. Meteobridge provides a web server where you simply direct your browser to.
When you reset PRO2 to factory defaults or LAN Client mode it will grap IP from your router during boot and will be available at that IP from with your LAN.
Please make sure that your browser connects to the IP via HTTP. Some browsers try HTTPS automatically and once tried they automatically flip to HTTPS on that IP whatever you type in. So close browser (all instances), open browser again and try to connect to "http://192.168.0.70" or what IP your router has given to it. PRO2 shows its IP on OLED during boot. If it cannot get an IP it says so.
When you cannot reach the shown IP, make sure that your PC is on the same LAN.
