Falling back to PORT instead of PASV mode

Post by gigi74 »

We are experiencing an issue with our Meteobridge, which has stopped transmitting data to the destination server via FTP since April 16th.
We are getting the following error: Echec du test de l'envoi FTP : Data connection timed out. Data connection timed out. Data connection timed out. Falling back to PORT instead of PASV mode. Could not read reply from control connection -- timed out. ncftpput //test-upload: timed out while waiting for server response.
We tested our connection settings with FileZilla, and they are working correctly.
Has there been any change on the Meteobridge side that could affect the connection?
Do we need to perform an update?
Has anyone already encountered this issue?
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing the problem?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Looks like your web space provider has changed something on his side. Please ask there to understand what has changed on their side.

Some switch-off FTP for security reasons. If they allow SFTP instead, you can redefine the Meteobridge upload using SFTP.
