Auroa Licence expired

Post by Expalmi »

Hello,

I installed my Meteobridge pro several years ago. With my first install I also installed the weather34 templates on my vps. https://www.wetiwet.de/console/index.php I did the first settings, everything seems to work fine. Than I forgot the installation.

Yesterday I remember the installation and checked, Today weather was ok, I did not see graph month or year. I checked the forum and was informed weather34 is now aurora, donwload the master update file and did an update.

It is working, what I see is "license expired". I thought with use of a Meteobridge pro aurora is free, did I miss something?

Graphs are still missing. What Do I have to check?

I am not aware that there is any Aurora license. At least the Aurora I provide for Meteobridge use in the cloud is not licensed or exopiring.

Please share screen shot that says the license being expired.

Aurora cloud usage is bound to the Meteobridge being in update plan. As your PRO has an unlimited update plan, your Aurora should be fine. Therefore, the Aurora message surprises me.

When you grant me remote access to your PRO, I can dig down on this. Please send credentials to "info(at)meteobridge.com".

Thanks for providing login credentials. The expiration notice you get is not on the Meteobridge Cloud side (which you currently don't use) but on the Aurora install you have done on your own server.

I think this is just a message you get as the latest Aurora templates are mainly designed for cloud usage and might not be correct on this display thing when used on your own server. As data seems to come in fine I regard it a minor issue. If the message annoys you too much you can patch the responsible php code on your server.

Hi,

thanks. It does not annoy me too much.

Do you have any idea, I do not see graphs for month or years?

I do not support user installs on their servers. It is too much dealing with individual setups and would eat up all my time.

Did you consider to use the Cloud version instead or in addition? You might give it a try? There also is a data migration path.

Ok, I do understand your point.

I will give it try and look for the migration path.

I am sorry to disturb again.

I activated Aurora Cloud, provided a password and tried to login to admin page I used the provided password when activating.

Can not login, what did I miss?
