Met Office WOW closing in 2026

Hi All,

The Met Office is closing down it's WOW service - https://weatherobservationswebsite.blog ... m/2025/12/ and will not be providing an alternative although
...we remain committed to receiving valuable data and as motivated as ever to collect your observations.
Has anyone heard anything more on this since December?

Appears to be a bit of a premature announcement? Have not heard a thing since.
