RF Sensitivity settings v Signal Strength

Post by Mattk »

For internal RF direct from sensor etc configuration what are the best signal strength being received by MBPro/Pro2?

Lowest Sensitivity setting available is -30dB. For signal strengths around -10dB, -20dB, -30dB & -40dB etc what Sensitivity setting works best? Do most follow the rule of -10dB above the RF signal strength?

Setting sensibility below -60db does usually don't bring benefits in terms of avoiding RF noise. Therefore, excessive value like -10 db or so might not be of any benefit. The 10db rule (difference between weakest signal recorded on live data monitoring and defined RF threshold) should be fine in most situations, when station is a bit farer away.
