MBPro2 uploading to Wow-BE / No Baro Pressure?

Post by Mattk »

Anybody uploading to WoW-BE with a MBPRO2 and getting Pressure?

I have multiple NanoSD's & PRO's uploading to Wow-BE and no issues with pressure, I have a PRO2 not managing pressure to Wow-BE (and WoW-UK for that matter also) and just can not see anything different in the configs. This is a very basic setup using defualt mapping.

Just can't see what I am missing? PRO2 Live Data shows pressure is live?

I also have an MB-Pro2 uploading to WOW-BE Reboot since a week and it does show Baro pressure. I did nothing else the registering and adding the weather network service "BE MetOffice WOW-BE". Upload frequencu 5 min.

Thanks for confirming. I have since started up another PRO2 and that also uploads Baro Sea Level pressure to both Wow-BE & Wow-UK ok.

The one that doesn't shows Baro pressure values on the Live Data tab but thb0seapress output is blank, in any Wow output, export files etc which is rather odd? This unit has FW 6.4 (6359) Jul 28, 2026, unit with normal Baro pressure output is FW 6.3 (6207) Nov 10, 2025 but unsure if a failed pressure sensor or a FW issue?

What is the FW/Build of your PRO2?

Going to roll back to FW 6.3 and check.

Meteobridge reports to wow and wow-be sealevel pressure from "thb0seapress" in inches (as URL parameter "baromin"). When it does not report this data, then I assume the Meteobridge PRO might not have sealevel pressure data on the live data tab as well and then it is a more general issue.

Ok so even though the Nano/SD, Pro & PRO2 have the pressure onboard as well as the Altitude/Height setting, if there was no (outside) Temperature available (failed temp/humidity sensor/bad connection/No ISS at all etc) would or should these units still to provide thb0seapress and/or thb9seapress?

thb0press & thb9press exhibit values but none for thb0 or thb9 seapress? This can be emulated by not configuring an ISS and have also noticed this with a bad Temp/Humidity connection.

UÍ just found some time to have a look into the code. seapressure is reported as "baromin" for these networks. There is no condition decoded, that inhibits sending this when other values are not present. Therefore, as long as "thb0seapress" data is present, it should sow up in the wow networks.
Is "thb0seapress" fully populated in the database? If not, it might be an indicator that the issue is on the data collecting side.

This is not only WoW but that was where I first noticed it (both UK & BE versions) with a bad Temp/Humidity connection at the time, no outdoor Temp/Hum values. Appears to be at the sensor level as per the following export grab which behaves the same way, with no ISS, only thb0press & thb9press, include an ISS also includes thb0seapress &thb9seapress, remove ISS and seapress disappears. Does this indicate seapress is dependent on having Outdoor Temperature?

Yes, sea level pressure calculation used does make use of outdoor temp. When outdoor temp data is missing no sea level pressure is calculated. Meteobridge assumes that outdoor temp is just not there but will show up shortly. Therefore, no sea level pressure calculation is done without outdoor temp as doing so would result in sea level data inconsistent with what shows up when outdoor temp kicks in. It might result in data spikes that rise questions.
