Aurora is reporting all zeros from my station

Aurora is reporting all zeros from my station
Not sure what happened, but now the Pro2 does not seem to be communicating with the station. Aurora is reporting all zeros. Ideas??
Re: Aurora is reporting all zeros from my station
Well typically that would tend to indicate no connection between the Pro2 and the Sensors, presume it's RF? What's the sensor suite, what's the distance, what's the sensor suite's power situation. Is there any data on the Pro2 Live Data tab?
Re: Aurora is reporting all zeros from my station
Here's what ChatGPT says:
Meteobridge PRO2, FW 1.3, Meteobridge 6.4 beta build 6365.
Using internal RF receiver with direct RF readout of Davis sensors.
Live Data → Now displays correct values.
All weather network upload previews (Weather Underground, Aurora) show zeros although uploads succeed (green check).
Log repeatedly reports:
station 1 (Vantage), can't open device /dev/ttyMH
UI shows:
Error: No Davis Station defined for Meteostick to read data from
Sensor mapping appears correct.

Re: Aurora is reporting all zeros from my station
For some reason (not sure what) the RF communication with the station stopped. The Pro2 is about 4' away from the station. I rebooted the pro2 several times and now it seems to be back up. How important is the firmware update process? Should I download the latest every time it reboots?
I hope this isn't a sign of things to come. My Meteobridge nano has been working years without glitching, rebooting, etc.

No, not good practice (my opinion) to auto update firmware on every reboot, if it's working then don't fix it, if a particular firmware update has benefits then manually make that call.
What is your RF Sensitivity setting? (Station>Weather Station>Sensitivity)

-90 db. What should it be? The Pro2 is litteraly beneath the station.Mattk wrote: Sun Aug 09, 2026 10:25 pm No, not good practice (my opinion) to auto update firmware on every reboot, if it's working then don't fix it, if a particular firmware update has benefits then manually make that call.

I typically use -80dB but the recommended sensitivity is -10dB above [Live data] signal strength, that is if the Signal is -70dB then sensitivity should be set to -80dB
