Meteobridge provides a very convinient way to be accessed from remote without the need to open and forward ports on your local firewall. The technology behind this is that the Meteobridge sets up a SSH reverse tunnel to the Meteobridge server and the Meteobridge server then acts as a proxy to route your requests to your Meteobridge.
By doing so I take the burden that your Meteobridge requests run through my infrastructure. Since yesterday I have extreme load and status logging on the Meteobridge server by users requesting every second template data via the remote tunnel.
This is no fair use of the infrastructure I provide and I unfortunately have to block these excessive requests. Implemented rule is that a 60 minutes block is issued when there are more than 200 requests in 5 minutes. When heavy use continues, I will set the limit even lower.
P.S.: When you have exessive needs, please setup your router to allow direct access from the Internet to your Meteobridge via port forwarding and setting up your firewall accordingly.
