wd export data

Post by cd0085 »

Hi,

I'm having problems exporting my data to weather display. I get a file called wdexport.csv in the export folder but not mmyyyylg.txt file.

Perhaps someone could help me get this working.

Thanks,

Chris

How long since you turned the option on?
wdexport.csv seems to be a cache of some sort.
In due course mmyyyylg.txt files should appear too - I'm not sure of the frequency.

Ah, it's working now. Once I've got the data into the wd log dir. How do I update wd to actually use the data for graphing. Have tried following the manual but it doesn't seem to pick up the new data.

Thanks

Have you tried (in WD): Action => Convert Log File(s) to Graphs => make sure the correct mmyyyylg.txt is selected => Click 'Convert' button (& re-create last 31 day graphs, if you wish).

When you get back to the main WD screen you might need to [RightClick] the graph area and select 'last 12 hour graph' to get the graph to re-draw.

Does that help?
