Calibration Sensors - Listed as two of each. **solved**

Post by Mattk »

Anybody know what the calibration sensors that show under the drop down under Station/Settings/Sensor are all duplicated (two of each)?

Are the two entries identical all the way through the sensor ID, or is one a logical name and the other a physical name, such as th0temp and th0!0temp? The Mapping section of the wiki distinguishes those two naming schemes: https://www.meteobridge.com/wiki/index. ... on#Mapping

Could you share one pair exactly as it appears, plus the Meteobridge model and build date? That would help distinguish two names for a reading from an actual duplicated menu entry. I would leave the calibration values unchanged while checking this.

Yes every sensor has two identical entries to select from. Attached screen shot is a NanoSD 6.3 (Dec 16, 2025, build 5152) but als0 the same with MBPro2 6.4 (Sep19, 2026, build 6426 ) and MBPro(red)

That is a cosmetical bug. However, just pick one, which one you chose should not have an impact on the operation.

admin, fair enough, cosmetic I can live with. I had the same doubled-up list on mine and just went with the first of each... been running that way for a few weeks now and the readings havent budged. I checked the temp against an old mercury thermometer in the garage (proper belt and braces, I know) and it was bang on after the offset. To be fair, I was half expecting to have picked the wrong one and to spend a Saturday cursing it... so cheers for confirming it doesnt matter.
