WD Export and Wind Units

Post by D70 »

Hi folks!

I would like to know what are the units of the Wind variable when I export to the WD format. Comparing the August Wind Gust, on Wunderground my meteohub reported a max 37 km/h but in the export file the max gust was 15,4 (??).

Thanks

WD itself uses knots[1] in the log file, but 37 km/h => 20 knots...

Thanks skyewright for the response.

So, I can assume that the .txt files that reside on /data/export of my Meteohub are using knts as the wind measure?

Thanks again
