I was going to try and reload the image again, but the stick is no longer recognized by my Windows XP laptop. I suppose I have to go out and buy a brand new stick?

md5sum is ok, so your stick really might have a problem. Try to get a 4GB one, 2GB is pretty small.

This is/was a 4Gb stick. I originally tried installing the 4Gb image, which failed as it stated the drive had run out of space. So I then tried to install the 2Gb image, which may have caused the problem. Is there a way to reformat the stick with a Linux system? Either way, should I just try to put the 2Gb imagine on a 4Gb stick from the get go?

Thank you

Hello:

I picked up an 8Gb USB stick and loaded the 4Gb image. I was able to log into the unit via a cross over cable. All seems fine except for two things. It says I now have a demo license. How do I get my full license back?

Second, how do I connect to the web interface via my LAN. DHCP assigns 192.168.1.5, but I am not able to attach to http://192.168.1.5 or http://192.168.1.5:7777/admin.html. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you.

do you still have the license problem? on NSLU2 changing USB stick should not have an impact in the activation code. Just insert the old one, it should work.

regarding changing network settings... please ignore what it displays after having made changes. Do a reboot and new settings will become displayed and active. It is also described that way here: http://www.meteohub.de/joomla/index.php ... 6&catid=23
