Monitoring of process/file creation - Monit

Hi all,
I used Monit on NSLU2 before I migrate on Meteohub. This aplication can monitore processes or timestamp of files. If it detect problem can send e-mail or restart chosen aplication or OS.
Use this aplication somenody with Metohub ? Please share Your configuration.
